Employee charged with using credit cards to take $1,000

By Staff | Mar 4, 2015

Lenora R. Beltz, 55, of Montgomery, has been charged with eight counts of access-device fraud, according to court documents.

Beltz is an employee of Penn Line Service. According to her supervisor, Thomas Saar, she was in charge of receiving and managing company fuel credit cards.

Court documents said the company’s corporate office told Saar there were discrepancies in the amounts reported and the amounts spent, and following an audit, Saar found the cards were being used before they were distributed to the employees they were issued to.

Beltz allegedly used the cards to access over $1,000 between January and June 2013.

The accused posted her $15,000 bail and will appear in front of Judge Jon Kemp for her preliminary hearing March 13.
