MUNCY – A Williamsport man has been arrested on charges of stealing a laptop from his girlfriend’s home on Route 405 as well as taking the woman’s 30-inch, flat-screen television set from a self-storage facility, state police alleged in court papers.

Douglas John-Paul Hoffman Jr., of 334 Campbell St., has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property for taking Denise R. Davis’ items between July 5 and July 11, police said. The laptop was taken from 2381 Route 405 while the television was taken from Muncy Self Storage, 1603 John Brady Drive, Muncy Creek Township, police said.

Already jailed in the Lycoming County Prison on a probation violation, Hoffman was arraigned last week before District Judge Allen P. Page III and recommitted in lieu of $10,000 bail.
