MUNCY – State police are trying to determine who shot a Muncy Township woman’s dog outside her home on Oak Run Lane during the early morning hours Sunday, April 19.

The bullet went though the dog’s left leg and into its right leg, causing some “flesh wounds, bleeding and swelling,” Trooper Jason M. Cooley said.

The pet was treated by a veterinarian and is recovering “in good spirits,” Cooley said.
