MUNCY – After her boyfriend kicked her out of his home on Center Avenue in mid-October, 40-year-old Sue A. Gigunito stole the man’s identity by setting up a credit card account in his name, then, during the next four weeks, racked up $6,500 worth of charges on the card, borough police alleged.

Gigunito, formerly of the 2400 block of Lincoln Drive, Loyalsock Township, used the card in a variety ways, including charging for stays at a Best Western, $1,300 for a rental car, $900 to pay for a cellphone bill and $300 for insurance bills, police said.

The card was fraudulently put in James Dowling’s name, police said.

Charged with 24 counts of access device fraud and one count each of identity theft, theft by deception and receiving stolen property, Gigunito, now living at 9 E. Seventh St., Williamsport, was arraigned before District Judge Jon E. Kemp and initially committed to the Lycoming County Prison but has since been released on $25,000 bail.
