2 allegedly shoplifted from Hughesville store

HUGHESVILLE – In separate cases, borough police have charged two men with shoplifting at TJ’s Market, 49 N. Railroad St., according to court records filed at the office of District Judge Jon E. Kemp.

Damien R. Younger, 21, of 152 Fredna Ave., Montgomery, faces a felony charge for allegedly stealing $7 worth of merchandise from the store on April 26, police said.

Following his arraignment last week before Kemp, Younger, who has at least two prior shoplifting convictions, was released on $15,000 bail?

Also charged was Preston Lee Farrar, 21, of 60 S. Main St., who was caught allegedly trying to flee the store with $15 worth of merchandise on March 21, police said.

Charged with a misdemeanor account because it is his second shoplifting arrest, Farrar was arraigned Tuesday and committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $10,000 bail.

In another shoplifting case brought before Kemp last week, Wesley Zane Russitano, was arraigned on a misdemeanor count for allegedly stealing $622 worth of knives from Kitchen Collection at the Lycoming Mall on Feb. 11, according to Muncy Township police.

Following his arraignment, Russitano, 35, of 616 Fourth Ave., Williamsport, was released on $15,000 bail.
