Chronic shoplifters arrested again
PENNSDALE – Two people from Bradford County, who together already have 15 shoplifting convictions, have been charged yet again with felony shoplifting, receiving stolen property and conspiracy for allegedly stealing $234 worth of merchandise at Target in the Lycoming Crossing on May 2, according to Muncy Township police.
Stanley Roy Baldwin, 64, who has seven shoplifting convictions, and Dawn Leigh Hance, 58, who has eight shoplifting convictions, were arraigned last week before District Judge Jon E. Kemp.
Both live in Canton and are on probation for shoplifting.
Hance faces an additional charge of theft by deception for receiving a $174 gift card on the same day after allegedly returning merchandise that turned out to be stolen, police said.
She and Baldwin both were committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail each.
