By Staff | Jul 20, 2015

HUGHESVILLE – How 73-year-old Carlene Hall died in her mobile home at 152 Boak Ave. last Monday night on July 6th remains a mystery after an autopsy was performed the following Wednesday on her body proved inconclusive, Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. said. The autopsy was scheduled at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown. He said there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body.

Hall was discovered dead in her home just after 11 p.m., state police said. “Information was developed that Hall may have had an altercation with another woman earlier in the day,” a state trooper said.

“We have no obvious cause of death at the point,” Kiessling said, adding that investigators will now be awaiting “further autopsy and toxicology findings” which could take another 10 to 12 weeks.

State police also are assisting with the investigation.

“More updates will be provided as the investigation progresses,” Kiessling said.
