John Brady Drive sees 2 crashes in 6-hour period
MUNCY – Sections of John Brady Drive, about 600 yards apart, were briefly closed following two separate crashes that occurred in a six-hour period overnight in Muncy Creek Township, according to Muncy Area Deputy Chief James Michael.
The first crash occurred about 10:20 p.m. Monday at East Lime Bluff Road, where a car and a tractor-trailer truck collided, sending both the driver of the car and a passenger in the vehicle to area hospitals, Michael said.
The driver went to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, by ambulance while his passenger was taken to Muncy Valley Hospital, Michael added.
The second accident occurred about 4:30 a.m. and involved a pickup truck that overturned on its roof, briefly trapping the male driver, who was taken to Geisinger.
State police are investigating both crashes. The identities of those involved were not available.
