Group seeks information in Picture Rocks home invasion
PICTURE ROCKS – Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers is seeking information that would help state police arrest those who took part in a home invasion near Picture Rocks earlier this month.
Four suspects, all wearing camouflage, forced their way into a home in the 300 block of Yeagle Road in Wolf Township after first confronting a woman outside the house about 9 p.m. July 7, police said.
One of the suspects threatened the woman with a gun and then used the weapon to strike the head of a man several times inside house, police said.
The couple then were ordered to unlock a safe from which an estimated $6,000 was stolen, police said.
Before fleeing the scene, the intruders tied up the couple with an electrical cord and duct tape, police said, adding that the male victim suffered a fractured skull as a result of the assault.
