Several crashes occurred on area roads
Three people were injured last week when cars driven by Sarah E. Jablonski, 30 of Muncy, and Clyde D. Thompson Jr., 21, of Unityville, collided at Routes 405 and 442 in Muncy Creek Township about 3:30 p.m. Both drivers along with a passenger in Thompson’s car, Alisha Barton-Woodside, 21, also of Muncy, were treated at Muncy Valley Hospital, police said.
Following the initial collision, Thompson’s car struck a stopped pickup truck driven by David Bogart, also of Muncy, police said.
Police also released information about a motorcycle crash that occurred on Route 220 near the Lycoming-Sullivan county line about 9:15 a.m. on July 8.
Robert E. Dold, 53, of Vestal, New York, was treated at Geisinger Medical Center for injuries he suffered when his cycle struck a deer on the two lane road, police said.
Route 220 was closed on Monday night, July 18 for several hours in Wolf Township from Lime Bluff Road to Rabbittown Road after an 18 foot trailer truck and automobile collided on the corner of Wolf Run Road and Rt. 220. Drivers have not yet been identified.
