Man pleads guilty to lying on form to purchase gun
PENNSDALE – Michael Ernest Stevens, 27, of Shamokin, pleaded guilty last week to a Muncy Township police charge of making unsworn falsification to authorities that stemmed from an incident in mid-February in which he put down false information on a government form when he attempted to purchase a firearm at Gander Mountain, 66 Mall Parkway.
Stevens made arrangements to pay $966 in fines and court costs ordered by District Judge Jon E. Kemp.
