Several are injured in area crashes
TURBOTVILLE – A Danville man and three teenagers were injured and taken to the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, after their Ford Explorer struck several fence post and rolled over numerous times on County Line Road, just south of Paradise Road in Lewis Township, about 9:50 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 6 state police said.
The driver, Robert L. Merrill, 30, was reported in fair condition at the hospital, a nursing supervisor said.
Also injured were a 17-year-old Allenwood boy and two girls, a 14-year-old from Turbotville and a 15-year-old from Benton, police said. Department regulations prohibit troopers from releasing the names of juveniles injured in crashes. There was no information on their medical conditions.
In another crash, this one in Union County’s Kelly Township, Kimberly A. Mollica, 46, of Montgomery, was treated at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg for injuries she suffered when her car struck a block wall on Colonel John Kelly Road about 6:15 p.m. Oct. 28, state police said.
