Woman hurt in crash still in hospital
HUGHESVILLE- A Hughesville woman seriously injured last month in a violent head-on collision on Route 220 in Piatt Township remains hospitalized.
Initially admitted to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, Susan McGraw, 53, of Hughesville, is a patient at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, where she is recovering from injuries in a crash that occurred on Route 220, just south of Spook Hollow Road, on Dec. 9, according to Tiadaghton Valley Regional police. The hospital does not provide condition reports on patients.
McGraw was traveling north in the southbound lanes when her pickup truck slammed into a southbound Cadillac driven by William Child, 55, of Lock Haven.
The car then struck another southbound truck driven by Harry Williams III, 39, of Jersey Shore.
Both Child and his wife, Kim, 56, a passenger, also were admitted to Geisinger, but have since been discharged, a nursing supervisor said.
