MUNCY – Criminal charges have been filed against two men after state troopers interrupted an underage drinking party last month on Chippewa Road in Muncy Creek Township.

Jacob C. Sutton, 24, of Turbotville, faces multiple charges, including eight counts of endangering the welfare of children and three counts each of furnishing alcohol to minors and corrupting the morals of a minor, police said.

Responding on a tip, troopers went to 1036 Chippewa Road about 12:30 a.m. on March 11. Police said Sutton “was living” at the house at the time and carrying for several minors ranging from ages 5 to 17.

Police allege Sutton furnished alcohol to three people under 21, including 20-year-old Jordan Tyler Wilson, of 2943 Quaker Church Road, who was charged with corruption of minors and underage drinking.

Wilson and two minors were visibly intoxicated, police said.

One trooper said in an affidavit that there was “an excessive amount of open beer cans and liquor bottles observed around the living room and dining room.”

Sutton and Wilson have each been sent summonses to appear before District Judge Jon E. Kemp.
