Man injured after motorcycle strikes deer

Nathan C. Hall, 33, of Unityille, was taken to Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, to be treated for serious injuries he suffered when he was ejected from his motorcycle after it struck a deer on Peischel Hill Road in Jordan Township about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 19 state police said.

Geisinger had no record of Hall being a patient at the medical center, a nursing supervisor said that Thursday afternoon.

Concerning another crash, passenger Patrick R. Dieter, 28, of Hughesville, was treated at UPMC Susquehanna for injuries he suffered when he was ejected through an open window when the vehicle in which he was riding struck an embankment and flipped on its side on Quaker State Road in Fairfield Township about 9:40 p.m. on June 22, state police said. The driver was Jesse Jordan, also of Hughesville.
