Man charged with child porn
HUGHESVILLE – Jeremy Hughes has admitted to investigators that since his early teens, he has been “dealing with the issue” of watching child pornography.
Hughes, who turned 38 on Wednesday, admitted that he viewed child pornography “once a month, but it could be more,” according to an investigator’s affidavit.
He said he “liked to watch nude girls dancing around,” investigators said.
Hughes, of 34 N. Broad St., has been arrested on 50 felony counts of possession of child pornography filed by the state Attorney General’s Office.
The charges stem from investigators finding dozens of images of child pornography on computer equipment at Hughes’ home where they executed a search warrant on Oct. 25.
Following his arraignment before District Judge Jon E. Kemp, Hughes was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu $100,000 bail.
