The following people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records, and the law enforcement agencies involved were:
Jason Ranck, 42, of Watsontown; state police; possession of a bag of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1500 block of Elliott Street in Loyalsock Township on March 11; jailed in lieu of $7,500 bail.
Bryan Hall, 26, of 65 N. Main St., Hughesville; state police; attempted burglary, theft from motor vehicle, theft, loitering, possession of heroin, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia for his alleged involvement in several crimes in Montgomery overnight March 2; attempted to break into a home as well as Christ Lutheran Church in the first block of East Houston Ave., and stole items from two parked vehicles and attempted to illegally enter a third all in the same neighborhood; in one vehicle that he entered he left his cellphone, in another vehicle he left his wallet, which contained a packet of heroin, police said; at his arraignment he admitted to being addicted to heroin and methamphetamines; jailed in lieu of $90,000 bail.
David Merrick Jr., 54, of 51 Willow St., Hughesville; state police; simple assault, recklessly endangering and driving with a suspended license after he allegedly “sucker-punched” a man who was pumping gas at the Spirit Gas Station, 1380 E. Penn St., Muncy Creek Township, on Feb. 22; the victim, identified in court papers only as “Starr,” owed Merrick money, police said; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
Pamela Hamilton, 55, of 2325 Route 239, Unityville; state police; felony shoplifting and receiving stolen property after she fled with $11 worth of merchandise from Cole’s Hardware at 130 Muncy Creek Blvd. in Muncy Creek Township on Feb. 13; jailed in lieu of $15,000 bail; this was her fifth shoplifting arrest.
Collin Reid, 41, of 179 Snaurytown Road, Montgomery; state police; felony aggravated indecent assault, felony corrupting the morals of a minor and indecent assault, a misdemeanor for allegedly having inappropriate contact with a female minor in Clinton Township in late
December; jailed in lieu of $150,000 bail.
Motorist Melissa Ishman, 50, of 179 Old Cement Road, lot B-7, Montoursville; state police; DUI, speeding and careless driving on Lycoming Mall Drive in Muncy Township on Dec. 21; blood-alcohol content level was .20; this was her second DUI arrest; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
Motorist Terry Cresswell, 58, of 1812 Bush Hollow Road, Pennsdale; state police; DUI and careless driving on Interstate 180 in Muncy Township on Nov. 23; blood-alcohol content level was .15; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
Amanda Fenderson, 32, of 161 Fox Hollow Road, Montoursville; state police; theft by deception and conspiracy for allegedly conspiring with now suspended state Trooper Johnathan Buynak is tricking Thomas Dykstra three times to give them money for what turned out to be bogus undercover drug investigations; the allege deceptive incidents occurred in the city’s Newberry neighborhood between Aug. 21 and Aug. 24; Fenderson is free on $5,000 bail; Buynak, 38, of Hughesville, was arrested in January and also is free on bail.
Motorist Jacqueline Daye, 47, of 488 Crawley Hill Road, Hughesville; South Williamsport police; DUI on Route 15 on Nov. 22; blood-alcohol content level was .08; released on $5,000 bail.
