Dear Editor:

We recently attended the Junior Baseball Championship game at Montoursville.

The game was won by Montoursville. Both teams played equally hard.

When the medals were awarded, each Montoursville player had his medal placed around his neck. The East Lycoming players were handed their medals to put on by themselves. The players felt bad enough with the game loss and were made to feel worse by this action of disrespect.

I don’t know the person responsible for handing out the medals but they clearly were not thinking of the East Lycoming team.
