A nice Post Office
Through my professional career I had the opportunity to travel to many places in the
U.S.A. I’ve been in many small towns and big cities and I have seen many memorable
sights. That includes quite a number of U. S. Post Office buildings. I can say,
unequivocally, that Muncy’s Post Office rates as the most beautiful that I have ever seen.
If you have been inside the Muncy Post Office you know that the architecture, the
generous amount of wood accents, even the high tables that are there for the customers
use are not only pleasing to the eye, but they are also something that you just don’t find in
very many post office buildings today.
While John Fave does a more than adequate job maintaining the inside of the post office,
it is his talents with grounds outside that are amazing. The Memory Garden, the
plantings, with the numerous flowers, the decorations that adorn the building on holidays,
and the general, overall appearance of the grounds are all John’s handiwork. We should
all be proud of how our post office looks and, if you have the chance to talk personally with
John, each of us should express our thanks to him for his talents and his efforts.
Keep up the great work John.
