Dear Editor:

I am writing this letter to make Muncy Township residents aware of the proposal that has been

set forth for the Muncy Township to construct a new office building. The building is proposed to be constructed on Quaker Church Road with plans to be underway spring of 2017. This will mean the existing house will be torn down along with at least two other out-buildings and a new office be constructed on the site where the current house exists.

I truly feel the township residents were not considered in this decision, and as residents, I do not believe that we should absorb yet one more cost. I think that it would be in everyone’s best interest to attend the next public meeting of the township on December 14 at 7 p.m. in the community center to hear plans and express concerns.
