Charlie Brown’s Closes
A popular central Pennsylvania eatery is closing down after five years in business.
Charlie Brown’s Restaurant 2502 East Third St., on the strip in Loyalsock Township closed it’s doors, for good Monday. A sign on the front door confirmed the closing, in addition to a phone call. Customers are being directed to the Charlie Brown’s Restaurant near the Columbia Mall in Buckhorn to redeem any gift cards and certificates to the eatery.
Managers say tough economic times forced the closure, which is leaving about two dozen people out of work.
Calls to Charlie Brown’s corporate office in New Jersey were not immediately returned. However the Charlie Brown’s location near the Viewmont Mall in Lackawanna County is also now closed.
