A PennDOT maintenance crew in Lycoming County is scheduled to replace a large cross pipe beneath Route 2061 (Green Valley Road) in Penn Township on May 10. The replacement will improve drainage along the highway.

Green Valley Road will be closed at the pipe location, approximately 2.5 miles north of Route 118 during daylight hours, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pipe is located between Doctor Poust Road and Ganderback Road, approximately 200 feet south of the intersection with Ganderback Road.

A red-arrow detour will be in effect using Route 118, Route 405, Route 220 and Beaver Lake Road.

In the event of rain on May 10, the work will be rescheduled to May 11.
