By Staff | Nov 20, 2012

PENNSDALE, Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust is opening the doors to nearly all of its malls at midnight on Black Friday, November 23, 2012, including the Lycoming Mall. The extra-early opening allows local shoppers access to the added-value sales many retailers are offering exclusively during the overnight hours.

“In addition to the midnight opening and exclusive discounts, there will be free refreshments, creating an enjoyable, convenient experience for the official kick-off of the holiday shopping season,” said Sharon Leonard, Mall Marketing Director.

Starting on November 23 and throughout the Holiday season, shoppers will be able to create and share personalized Holiday e-cards and enter the mall’s $2,000 Shopping Spree Sweepstakes.

Also, Lycoming Mall is offering a variety of promotions to enhance the shopping experience that include: extended holiday shopping hours; Santa photos, special sessions with pets, gift wrapping services, a giving tree, festive entertainment and gift cards for personal and business gift giving.

Additionally, Lycoming Mall is supporting Lycoming County through the International Council of Shopping Center’s (ICSC) Shop Local campaign, which encourages consumers to shop in the community to help strengthen its economic base. Plus, select retailers in Muncy and Muncy Township are partaking in Small Business Saturday on November 24, 2012, a day dedicated to supporting small businesses nationwide.

Some of the stores will be opening Thanksgiving Day.
