Muncy native becomes new partner in PA law firm

Attorney Tammy Avery Weber

Marshall, Parker & Associates, an area law firm founded in 1980, has announced that Tammy Avery Weber has become a name partner in the firm. As a result, the name of the firm has been changed to Marshall, Parker & Weber.

Attorney Weber is currently the Managing Attorney of Marshall, Parker and Weber. Her legal practice is focused on elder law, estate planning, estate administration, and planning for business and gas royalty owners. She is one of only 43 attorneys in Pennsylvania who have achieved certification in the legal area of elder law. Elder law is the area of law which deals with legal planning for seniors and persons with special needs. Attorney Weber’s status as a Certified Elder Law Attorney has been approved by the National Elder Law Foundation and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

A native of Muncy, PA, Attorney Weber received her undergraduate degree from Lycoming College in 1983 and her law degree for Temple Law School. Before moving back to Lycoming County in 2001, she served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. In that capacity she investigated and obtained a criminal conviction in the first Medicare money laundering seizure case in the country. As a result of her service with the US Attorney’s office Weber received the Department of Health & Human Services Inspector General’s Integrity Award.
