PICTURE ROCKS – The Picture Rocks Lions Club recently presented Paul McCoy, a fourteen year member, with a Melvin Jones Fellowship. Melvin Jones founded Lions Club in 1917. In 1973 the Melvin Jones Fellowship was established. It is the highest form of recognition from Lions Club International and embodies humanitarian ideas consistent with the nature and purpose of Lionism.
Lion McCoy is a model Lion because of the exemplary service to his club and community for which it serves. He has served his club as a Director and Membership Chair. He has 8 years of 100 percent attendance. Lion McCoy contributes his time and abilities to the annual sauerkraut making and sales, fruit sales, food stands and all other activities the Lions are involved in. “He doesn’t hesitate when services are needed,” said Governor Elect, Charles Poust.
