Area’s leading technology company expands, relocates with Families United Network

MUNCY – Offices of Intrada Technologies, Inc. relocated to Muncy from Williamsport on Monday, June 22nd to 31 Ashler Manor Drive. An open house and ribbon cutting ceremony was held in conjunction with Families United Network and the Williamsport Lycoming Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, June 25th.
“We needed to find the right location for our expanding web-focused operations serving the North-East and South Central regions of Pennsylvania,” says David Steele co-founder of Intrada Technologies. “When Paul Boyer and I founded the company in 2000, our dream was to serve our customers with technological innovation that delivers efficient functionality to help clients meet their visionary goals.”
Under the owners’ leadership, the firm has grown from two employees to nine today, originally serving eight clients in Williamsport including Families United Network, to now serving more than 140 clients throughout the tri-state area. The new headquarters at Ashler Manor will provide 3,200 square feet of modern, efficient operations area.
According to co-founder Paul Boyer, “Along with the upgrade in quality workspace for our growing staff, we’re able to offer our clients the latest in ever-advancing information technologies. This ever increasing level of information security includs audit management for HIPAA, SOX and PCI regulations but also upgrading our network and internet connections to exceed the demands of the technology industry and tailor more services to help our clients gain a competitive edge.”
Intrada Technologies will be sharing ownership of a 10,000 square feet facility with Families United Network, Inc. a leader in child welfare services. The new office building is now the permanent headquarters for administrative operations for Families United Network. The organization provides quality foster care and adoption services, domestically and internationally covering 50 counties with five other offices in Pennsylvania.
Tom Neuhard, President and CEO of Families United Network said, “It has been a 15 year working relationship with Intrada and now it’s great to be in the same building together. The upgraded technology will allow us to better accomplish our mission.” Their program also serves a Transitional Living program here in Muncy for ages 17 to 21 and 2 residential programs, one in Muncy and the other in Lancaster.
Intrada Technologies recently acquired the integrated public relations and marketing firm of long-time business affiliate PRworks, Inc. The two companies have shared client service functions of website facilitation, content development and graphic design for more than 10 years. The service footprint of both firms overlaps, making the delivery of services including strategic communications, communications research and crisis communications seamless for clients.
