1982 graduate inducted into Academic Hall of Fame

HUGHESVILLE – Following an invocation by Mary Grieco, Hughesville High School presented its Academic Hall of Fame Award during a celebration banquet held Saturday, October 17 at the Lycoming Career and Technology Center. The honor went to Dr. Shawn Wolf, a graduate from the class of 1982.
Presented by Dayl McClintock from the Academic Hall of Fame committee, Dr. Wolf remarked on his memorable experiences while at Hughesville High School to about 50 present at the dinner which included high school seniors and student council officers.
Shawn Wolf was an experienced leader who focused on developing other leaders. Over the course of his twenty plus career, he has held diverse roles in the manufacturing sector and the world of higher education.
He is currently the President of Wright Manufacturing, Inc. and Outside Force Consulting where Shawn consults, coaches, and speaks on leadership, culture creation and team development.
His experience in growing leaders has led him to many speaking engagements across the country where he conducts one-on-one coaching and external consulting and training. His advanced academic background with a Doctorate degree in Strategic Leadership from Regent University in Virginia has given him an extensive portfolio in the leadership circle.

Poust, Class of 1976-Track and Field, PIAA Wrestling and Baseball Official, Coaching, are Morgan and Clayton Poust.
He holds many certifications in customer service, Advanced Graduate Studies, and Leadership Coaching.
Superintendent Michael Pawlik gave Dr. Shawn Wolf a warm welcome and praised his life’s accomplishments and community involvement where he resides with his wife and three children in Myersville, Maryland and serves on four local boards including the Frederick Memorial Hospital and the Maryland World Class Consortium.
Other committee members included Scott Aderhold, Brian McClintock, Jen Thomas, Donna Heiney, and Bill Babcock.
