Two local graduates are inducted into Muncy’s Athletic Hall of Fame

MUNCY – The Muncy High School Athletic Hall-of-Fame committee is proud to announce that the late Howard “Tiny”Ott, class of 1932 and Trevor Egli, class of 2004 have been elected as its newest members for 2016.
Ott and Egli are slated for induction at halftime of the homecoming football game featuring the Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech Rams and the Muncy Indians on Friday, Oct. 7, 2016.
They will be the 66th and 67th members, respectfully, to enter the Hall since the late Stanley T. Schuyler established the Muncy High School Athletic Hall-of-Fame in 1976.
Tiny Ott will join sons Tom and Ed who are members of the Hall-of-Fame while Trevor Egli is welcomed to the Hall by his grandfather H.O.F. member Harold “Corky” Egli.
The Ott’s family, Ron, Tom, Ed and Peggy will be in attendance to accept the induction for their father and Trevor will then receive H,O.F. plaques for their athletic accomplishments from president Roger Campbell.

Ott and Egli will have their picture plaques hung in the lobby of the Muncy High School gymnasium while also having their sports biographies and pictures permanently on display at the Muncy High School alumni athletic Hall-of-Fame web-site—www.muncysd.org.
