The Muncy School District held an Athletic Committee Meeting last Wednesday in the high school auditorium with nearly 100 people to hear the decision concerning the renewal of Denny Harer’s position as head wrestling coach. Muncy Superintendent Craig Skaluba read a detailed report of incidents that were in violation of Muncy Area School District policies, procedures and expectations and some in violation of PIAA procedures, regulations and guidelines. Skaluba recommended to open the varsity head wrestling coach position for anyone to apply, including Harer, before the meeting was adjourned by the committee members.
