Enter the Pennsdale Haunted Barn–If you dare

CINDY KNIER/THE LUMINARY Horror isn’t contained to just inside the Pennsdale Haunted Barn—it also greets those waiting in line in the form of a zombie killer behind the wheel of a Kia Soul. The attraction is held at 261 Village Road, Pennsdale, on Saturday, Oct. 19 and 26, 7-11 p.m.
PENNSDALE-The Muncy Township Fire Company resumes its ninth year of scary Halloween fun in the Pennsdale Haunted Barn, the Old Butcher Shop Barn on the grounds of the Pennsdale Fire Company, 261 Village Road.
The Haunted Barn features over 5,376 sq feet of frights around every corner sure to scare those who are brave enough to enter and is open from 7 to 11 p.m. the last two Saturdays this month: Oct. 19 and 26. The attraction is recommended for ages 12 and older.?
Those who are looking for a more traditional fall experience can take advantage of the Pennsdale Hay Ride, which takes place during the same time and dates but is not haunted.
- “We continue to find ways to create the scariest themed rooms each year, so returning visitors never know what to expect around the corner,” said Dawn Palmatier, spokeswoman for the yearly fundraiser.
Faddies food truck will be on site during the operation.
