A year ago, Muncy avenged a regular-season loss against Canton and won a 9-7 thriller to capture its second district title in three years. This year, history seemed to repeat itself as Canton beat Muncy during the regular season. Once again, Muncy upset the Warriors last Friday, winning 23-19 and a third consecutive district title in four years. Muncy?s regular season started out questionable but the Indians drew a line in the sand throughout the season ?s second half. The Indians play District 3 champion Millersburg at Williamsport in this Saturday?s state tournament; start time is 1 p.m.
