Council held their meeting Monday, May 11, remotely through Webex. Council members in attendance were Jerry Daugherty, Todd McCowan, Walt Reed, Rick Smith, Andy Mook and Brenda Smith.

Council approved for Mike Earnest, Travelers baseball and Chris Kish, Hughesville baseball coach to use

Bodine Park for practice and games once the county extends into the Governor’s green phase.

A resolution was adopted to extend the face value period on real estate taxes to August 31, 2020, contingent upon the County also adopting.

Public works is getting prices for replacing the sidewalks affected by the future paving project on Broad Street.

The next scheduled meeting is June 8, at 7 p.m. and will tentatively be using Webex. Instructions to attend the meeting will be on the website www.hughesvillepa.org.
