Study of Glade Run approved

By Staff | Jul 8, 2020

Lycoming County Commissioners took action on a number of professional services agreements at a recent June meeting, including a floodplain management plan in Muncy.

The $80,000 hydrologic study of Glade Run will be conducted by the Army Corp of Engineers as part of a hazard mitigation project. The small stream running through the borough has been the principal cause of flooding in the community through the years, according to Lycoming County Planning and Community Director Shannon Rossman. No county dollars will be spent for the study.
