Montgomery and Hughesville boroughs both held Halloween parades filled with floats, walkers, pets and plenty of costumes and candy. Montgomery Untamed, a scouting organization, posed for a photo before participating in the Lion’s Club Halloween parade. The best float prize at the Hughesville parade was given to Subhouse Subs. There was also a costume contest with winners for the scariest, prettiest, most original, patriotic and ugliest costumes.
