The Battle of the Books competition was held at Canton Jr./Sr. High School on Saturday, April 1. Each team prepared for the competition by reading 20 books. On the day of the competition teams had to answer comprehensive questions of what they read in a total of four rounds. The team with the most correct answers wins. The competition has several divisions including Elementary, Jr. High, and Sr. High divisions.

Hughesville’s Jr. High (team name: Baby Got Books) coached by Alexa Nork, won this year’s battle in their respective division.
