With 170 students dressed to impress and ready to party, Muncy High School held its largest prom in years Friday at Farrington Place in Williamsport.

The theme “Night Under Lantern Light” was a Disney’s “Tangled”/Rapunzel theme and featured flickering lantern centerpieces, fresh flowers from Rustic Event Rental, and the dance floor with purple and gold lanterns overhead.

A huge hit were mocktails themed off characters from the movie, like the Mother Gothel, the Pascal and the Flynn Ryder. The Rapunzel drink was served in a champagne flute and was lavender soda with edible glitter. Students could get their drinks, lounge in sofas and get plenty of pictures using the photo backdrop in the front club room. The photo op was a grassy green background with an elaborate balloon arch in purple, lavender and gold, also from Rustic Event Rental.

The attendees danced for three hours to music and could take a break from the action and take unlimited photos with props in the photo booth, all provided by Hypnotic Sounds.
