Mary Anne Heydenreich
Mary Anne Heydenreich, 77, of Bloomsburg, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Oct. 31, 1931 in Hughesville, she was a daughter of the late Clarence F. and Grace McCarty Stolz.
She was married to Robert H. Heydenreich on March 1, 1950, observing 58 years of marriage.
A 1949 Hughesville High School graduate, she worked in the Lycoming County Fair Office from 1949-2008 and was elected as Secretary of the Lycoming County Fair. She assisted her husband Robert at the Bloomsburg Fair Ticket Office from 1984-2005. Mrs. Heydenreich received numerous awards of recognition of fair services, including P.S.A.C.F. Zone II Person Award 2001, and 2008 Fair Person of the Year Award from P.S.A.C.F. at the state convention held in Hershey.
She is a member of PA State Showmen’s Association and PA State Association of County Fairs; belonged to the Order of the Eastern Star, Bloomsburg Chapter No. 279; F.H.A. Alumni; and the Bloomsburg Professional Women’s Association.
She enjoyed attending and watching her family compete in open wheel racing.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Richard, and his wife Sharon; two grandchildren, Eric and Whitney; several nieces and nephews; caregivers Karen and Angela Yaw; and beloved pet McKenzie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Robert Stolz.
Services will be Thursday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m. at Bunnell Funeral Home, Inc., 179 E. Main St., Millville, with Rev. Allen F. Acor officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lycoming County Fair, P.O.
