Jerry A. Tanley

Jerry A. Tanley, 47, of Muncy, passed away unexpectedly Nov. 14, 2008, in the Emergency Room of Muncy Valley Hospital.

Born March 15, 1961, in Lake Crystal, Minnesota, he was the son of Jean (Mosher) Tanley of Lake Crystal and the late Albert Tanley.

On Oct. 9, 2002 he married the former Michelle Rosini, celebrating six years of marriage.

A native of Minnesota, he had resided in Minneapolis for several years until relocating to Pennsylvania in 1999.

In 2006 he graduated from McCann School of Technology, Sunbury and was employed at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville where he worked with computer software. Earlier in life he had worked in the printing industry.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the American Legion.

Surviving, in addition to his mother and wife, are a brother, Denny of Lake Crystal, MN; two sisters, Mary (Richard) Rengstorf of Lake Crystal, MN and Shirley (David) Leonard of Sierra Vista, AZ; and his wife’s parents, Charles and Pauline Rosini of Shamokin.

A memorial service was held Nov. 18, at 2 p.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Turbotville with the Rev. Erwin C. Roux officiating. Contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 1704 Warren Ave., Williamsport, Pa 17701 or a charity of one’s choice.

Arrangements were entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.
