Shirley M. Lantz

Shirley M. Lantz, 72, of Williamsport, died Nov. 21, 2008 at Rose View Center, Williamsport.

Born May 11, 1936 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Sr., and Bessie Craven Weller.

She was a member of the graduating class of 1954 of the Montgomery High School.

She was retired from Sodexho, Inc at Williamsport.

Surviving are her husband, Robert E. Lantz, at home, a son, James Douglas Weller of Williamsport, a stepdaughter, Cheryl J. Fox of Montoursville, a stepson, Robert E. Lantz, II of Linden; four sisters, Rosemary and her husband, Eugene Henley of Williamsport, Doris and her husband William Flick of Bastress, Joan and her husband, Charles Cunningham of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Judy Rooker of Williamsport, a brother, Benjamin, Jr. and his wife, Sue Weller, one granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death a sister, Betty Barto and by her late brother, Eugene Weller.

Funeral services were held Nov. 25, at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, 1South Williamsport. Rev. Mark D. Brumbach, pastor at South Williamsport United Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
