The Rev. Dr. Robert L. Close, 79, of Lewisburg, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, at RiverWoods, Lewisburg.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4, at Beaver Memorial United Methodist Church, Lewisburg, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. After the service, there will be a time for sharing memories in the fellowship hall.
