Edward Paul Miller

Edward Paul Miller, 65, of Lewisburg, and formerly of Montgomery, died of heart failure Dec. 8, 2008, in Santa Barbara, CA.

Born on Feb. 17, 1943 he was the son of the late Milford W. “Sonny” and Ada Mae (Braim) Miller.

He and the former Linda Bair observed 43 years of marriage.

He graduated from Montgomery High School and Kutztown State College, where he later worked as a History professor and served as Alumni Director.

Mr. Miller was a retired businessman, college professor and football coach. Above all else, he was a proud and dedicated father and grandfather.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ed M. Miller, Spartanburg, SC and Gordon P. and Lisa D. Miller, Solvang, CA; one daughter, Denise R. Winter, Port Townsend, WA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rick and Linda Miller, Bedford, PA and Rod L. and Lorelei Miller, Middleburg, PA; one sister and brother-in-law Rosemary Ann and Rick Wilhelm, St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Travis, Brianna, Benjamin, Brittany and Daniel Miller and 24 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted from the Mountain Road God’s Missionary Church, Penn’s Creek, on Dec. 13, with Alan K. Walter, pastor, officiating. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association. E-condolences may be sent to his family at dwtr@earthlink.net.
