Jerry R. Schrack, Sr.

Jerry R. Schrack, Sr., 60, of Montoursville, died at his residence on Dec. 8, 2008.

Born Dec. 6, 1948, in Lock Haven, he was the son of Clair J. and Mollie Stover Schrack.

He and the former Sally Jane STevenson would have celebrated 40years of marriage on Feb. 8, 2009.

Mr. Schrack was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the Air Force. He retired as a Correction Officer from the Muncy State Prison and had also worked in the sporting goods department in Walmart. He was a member of First Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by a son Jerry R. Schrack, Jr.; a daughter Tammy J. Powell; a brother Clair Schrack, Jr.; a sister Shirley Grieb and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Dec. 12, at Spitler funeral home, with the Rev. R. Kenneth Weiss officiating. Burial was in Montoursville Cemetery.
