Dale L. Baysore

Dale L. Baysore, 70, of Dutchtown Rd., Muncy, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2008, at his home.

Born July 7, 1938, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Robert and Mildred Snyder Baysore.

He and his wife, the former L. Margaret Daugherty, would have celebrated 51 years of marriage on Feb. 14.

Dale attended the Montoursville High School. He was employed at the former C. A. Reed’s for 36 years and retired from Bressler Plumbing and Heating. Dale served in the Army National Guard from 1956 until 1962. He enjoyed hunting, farming and gardening.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four sons, Allen L. Baysore of Montoursville, Phillip E. Baysore of Picture Rocks, Paul E. Baysore of Hughesville and Timothy L. Baysore of Bellefonte; a brother, William Baysore of Muncy; a sister, Arlene Rall of Kennyville; 12 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by a son, Thomas L. Baysore; a sister, Betty Rocky; and two brothers, Robert and Kenneth Baysore.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, at the McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home, 557 E. Water St., Hughesville, with the Rev. Robert A. Lauver officiating. Burial will follow in Webster Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
