Jesse T. (Wheelz) Houtz

Jesse T. (Wheelz) Houtz, 36, a resident of 683 Gap Road, Allenwood, PA, passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in the Williamsport Hospital. Born in Muncy Creek Twp., Lycoming County, PA, on Friday, March 17, 1972, he was the son of the late Marlin Houtz and Mary (Fisher) Houtz who survives him of Williamsport, PA.

He was the husband of Heather D. (Dunkleberger) Houtz with whom he celebrated a 14th wedding anniversary on May 9, 2008.

Jesse was a 1990 graduate of Montgomery High School and received an associate degree in accounting from the Newport Business Institute.

He attended the Elimsport United Methodist Church at Elimsport, PA. Jesse was a member of the Future Business Leaders of America and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife and mother, Jesse is survived by three daughters, Alexandrea Houtz; Christian Houtz; Natasha Houtz; one brother, James D. Houtz, Middleburg, PA; one sister, Jennifer Miller, Milton, PA; his maternal grandfather, Harold Fisher, Muncy, PA; his aunt, Carol Voneida, Allenwood, PA; his uncle, Edward Fisher, Mulberry, IN. He is also survived by several other aunts and uncles, two nieces, six nephews and two great-nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 North Main Street, Muncy, PA at 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 with Michael A. Hill, his pastor, officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Jesse Houtz Memorial Fund, 683 Gap Road, Allenwood, PA 17810.
