Mary Helen Ross
Mary Helen Ross, 79, of 2405 W. Fourth St., died peacefully Thursday, Jan. 29, 2009, at the Williamsport Home.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Joseph Ross, April 8, 1995. They were both retirees of Phillips ECG and the former Sylvania Electronics, of which they were both Quarter Century Club members. They built many beautiful doll houses together and they loved to go to flea markets and antique stores. As husband and wife, their love was always patient and kind and they showed that kindness in everything they did together. Their children and grandchildren were blessed by the same love that they shared for each other. Mary was a member of the Church of the Ascension.
Born Jan. 31, 1929 in Montgomery, she was the daughter of Robert and Mary Lesho Tilburg.
Surviving are daughters, Ann Marie (Robert) Burns and Sherry Lynn Ross both of Williamsport; a brother, Leroy (Alice) Tilburg of Cogan Station; grandchildren, Thomas (Tiffany) Stabley of State College and Michele of Dover Del.; and great grandchildren, Cole, Allison, Katie and Thomas.
Mary was predeceased by brothers, Robert and Paul Tilburg.
Funeral services will be at the convenience of the family with the Rev. Charles J. Cummings officiating. Burial will be in Twin Hills Memorial Park. No visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Williamsport Home, 1900 Ravine Road, Williamsport.
