Fred A. Huff
Fred A. Huff, 85, of White Deer, passed away Friday, February 27, 2009 at Kramm Health and Rehabilitation, Watsontown where he had been admitted Feb. 10th.
Born May 16, 1923 in White Deer, he was the son of the late William and Roseanna (Weitzel) Huff. He and his wife, the former Gladys Weaver have celebrated 67 years of marriage.
He was employed at Philco Ford, Watsontown and a veteran of the US Army, having served during WWII.
He attended Watsontown Alliance Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving besides his wife who resides at Kramm’s, Watsontown, is a sister, Alberta Dingle, also residing at Kramm’s, Watsontown.
He was preceded in death by a son, Gary Huff, two brothers, William and Millard Huff and three sisters: Gladys, Helen, and Jenny.
Friends are invited to call at Brooks Funeral Home, 124 Main Street, Watsontown from 1 to 2 PM Monday where the funeral will be held at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Donald Reitz, retired pastor of Watsontown Alliance Church, officiating. Burial will be held at the family’s convenience at Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.
