Richard William “Tucker” Taylor, 53, of 2178 Pikes Peak Road Allenwood, died Friday, March 13, 2009 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born Dec. 29, 1955 in Muncy, he was a son of Richard H. and Eleanor McCormick Taylor. He was a 1974 graduate of Montgomery High School and attended the Williamsport Area Community College for plumbing and heating.

He was employed for over 20 years at KC Larson as a foreman and master plumber. Richard was a member of Elimsport United Methodist Church. He was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends, and he had a special bond with his dog “Brandy.”

Surviving in addition to his parents of Allenwood, are his wife of 32 years Cynthia Ann (Sekel) Taylor, daughter Wendy E. Bradbury (spouse Timothy) of Norristown, son Lucas J. Taylor of Easton, grandson Reece William Bradbury, sister Pamela Miller (spouse Danny) of Jersey Shore, and brother Douglas Taylor (spouse Shannon) of Oxford, MI.

A celebration of Richard’s life will be held 10 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Williamsport, with Pastor Michael A. Hill officiating. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Sanders.
