Charlotte Kisner

Charlotte E. Kisner, 76, formerly of Heatherbrooke Estates, Muncy, died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit. She was born on July 1, 1932 in Millville, the daughter of the late Josiah W. and Euphamia (Larish) Potter.

Charlotte was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hughesville, and was a charter member of the Muncy Valley Moose Auxiliary Lodge 2222, Hughesville, and a life member of the Muncy VFW, Post 3428, and also the American Legion Post 269, Auxiliaries, in Muncy. She enjoyed watching NASCAR, working with flowers, cards, knitting and cooking.

Charlotte is survived by two grandsons, Thomas and Daniel Herrick of Arnold, MD; a brother-in-law, William Beitz of Millville; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Potter of Danville; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two children, Brenda Herrick Munro, and Danny Wayne Kisner; two brothers, Leonard and Edward Potter and two sisters, Bernice Beitz and Geneva Mordan.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
