Mary L. Kramer

Mary L. Kramer, 85, formerly of Montgomery, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 in the Muncy Valley Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit. Born in Clinton Twp., Lycoming County, PA, on Saturday, October 11, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Reuben A. and Susie J. (Bennett) Swisher. She was the widow of George Kramer who preceded her in death in 1980.

Mary was employed by the former Bobbi Brooks at Montgomery.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church at Montgomery. Mary greatly enjoyed the company of her cats.

Mary is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Harold E. “Sonny” and Eleanor Swisher, Montgomery and one sister-in-law, Romayne Swisher, Montgomery. She is also survived by three nieces, one nephew, three great-nephews, one great-niece, one great-great-nephew, one great-great-niece and several cousins. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by one brother, Robert R. Swisher.

Funeral services were conducted from the Galen R. Betzer Funeral Service, 108 N. Main St., Muncy at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 11, 2010 with Michael Hill, pastor of the Elimsport United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Park. Friends called on Monday from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family provided the flowers.
