Lydia Ann “Tweety” Bennage
Lydia Ann “Tweety” Bennage, 67, of 20 E. High St., Muncy, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2010, at the Muncy Valley Hospital emergency room.
Born June 20, 1942, in Muncy, she was a daughter of Lewis Phillip and Helen Louise (Butler) Sheridan.
She was preceded in death by her father and her husband, James Edward Bennage.
Tweety was a member of Muncy Baptist Church. She retired from Muncy Valley Hospital, where she worked in the kitchen for 10 years.
In addition to her mother, of Muncy, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Bradley Fenstermacher of Muncy, and two grandsons, Kevin and Jacob Fenstermacher.
The funeral was at noon on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy. Officiating was Rev. Max L. Walters, Jr., pastor of Lairdsville Faith Church. Burial followed in Muncy Cemetery.
Friends were received at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday.
